Our coaches courses vary from the 1 day Pro Development courses (suitable for LTA licence points) to the Level 1,2 and 3 courses and our new Specialist Coach Qualifications
All our courses will also offer coaches the opportunity to apply to become registered with the LTA On successful completion of your RPT coaching course you will receive certification from the RPT and also from the International Coaches Institute and the European Union. All our coaching courses are developed from the successful Spanish coaching systems introduced in Spain by the RPT which have been an integral part of the fantastic and consistent success of Spanish tennis over the past 10-15 years. This is your chance to learn these successful coaching methods and at the same time be able to gain the necessary qualifications to be able to apply to become registered or licensed with the LTA. COURSES LEVEL 1 Coaching Assistant This qualification is an introduction to tennis coaching based on the successful Spanish Coaching Systems and is aimed at people who are enthusiastic about tennis and want to help a coach deliver Mini Tennis. If you are a parent who wants to help their children enjoy and improve their Mini Tennis, a teacher working within a school or you want to help the coach at your club or in your local park then this course will give you the information and skills you require. Successful completion of this course enables coaches to apply directly to the LTA to become LTA registered LEVEL 2 Assistant Coach if you want to help within a coaching programme and would like to be able to deliver group coaching to beginners of any age then this qualification is for you. It will build on the skills learnt on the Level 1 course and will expand your knowledge of the successful Spanish System and of working with groups of players in different environments. It will also focus on running short format competitions that will allow beginners to enjoy competing. You will then be able to work independently under the umbrella of a larger coaching programme. Successful completion of this course enables coaches to apply directly to the LTA to become LTA registered LEVEL 3 Coach Award The RPT are the only private training provider offering the UKCC Level 3 qualification. The course has been mapped to the Spanish Coaching System but offers UK, European and International Coaching qualifications. The Coach Qualification covers the key coaching skills developed as part of the successful Spanish Coaching System that are required to be an effective coach as well as the tactical, technical, physical and mental information a coach needs to work with beginners and improvers. The Coach Qualification is a major and rewarding step for coaches ready to acquire the skills of a full-time professional tennis coach. It provides a rounded training in on court skills and in how to work as a coach in your chosen professional setting. Successful completion of this course enables coaches to apply directly to the LTA to become LTA registered RPT TENNIS LEADER This course is designed for young tennis enthusiasts from the age of 13. The course incorporates information from the successful Spanish Coaching system together with the LTA Tennis Leaders programme. It provides a series of building blocks enabling young coaches to be able to work with a qualified coach to assist in their coaching programmes. The course will cover the key strokes, drills and games together with how to develop safe and effective organisation skills. The LTA Tennis Leaders Award and the RPT Tennis Leaders Award are offered on this course COMMUNITY COACH the 2 day coaching course is designed to introduce and teach tennis to children and how to develop their skills and interest in the game. It combines technical teaching with movement and co-ordination in a dynamic and fun environment and incorporates the successful Spanish teaching methods, which have helped produce players like Rafael Nadal, Carlos Moya and Juan Carlos Ferrero. The Nike Community Coach award is designed to help expand the base of tennis and introduce a wider range of children into the game from throughout the community. Successful completion of this course enables coaches to apply directly to the LTA to become LTA registered ALREADY COACHING? WORLD TOUR is a specific course for coaches that wish to understand the complete RPT programme of professional training at the different levels. The RPT executive committee approved a curriculum made up of four basic levels, with specialisation courses including: Streetennis, Charlytennis and Adultennis, in a three day intensive format, simple, easy and 100% practical way. Now, the RPT organizes for the first time the RPT World Tour which will visit different countries each year, where the participants will have an opportunity to obtain the National Master Professional certification from the RPT. |
