Background
This new initiative has been introduced to help coaches be able to train and mould their own assistant coaches and coaching workforce. Using the proven successful RPT Spanish Teaching System a coach can add to this programme their own ideas and structure to help establish their own coaching philosophy and style.
By using the RPT teaching methodology this will help coaches establish a clear and proven coaching pattern and will also help to establish consistency between coaching and coaches helping to provide a high quality coaching provision for players of all levels.
How do I know what to teach?
You will be sent a Tutor Pack which outlines what the course content is and ways to deliver the programme. You and the learners will also be given access to online learning platforms to be able to check the teaching progressions and to help reinforce the teaching methods, listen to presentations and watch drills and practices from some of the best Spanish coaches and academies
Running your Courses
You will be able to deliver your courses when you like and where you like. There are no minimum numbers on your course so you can run the courses when you want to. The course requires a total of 20 hours of training which you can deliver in any combination of blocks to suite your business and those you are looking to train
What are the Costs ?
The costs vary depending on which courses you are wishing to deliver, the number of coaches on each course and how many times per year you are looking to deliver courses. The fee will cover the RPT course manual, workbook, assessment sheets, online learning resources, tutor support and RPT certification.
What can I charge?
Although we do have recommended course fees the delivery of the courses becomes part of your business model and as such you are free to charge whatever fees you feel are competitive, fair and in line with your other fees. You can offer the training free in return for some coaching hours. It is up to you
What Qualifications will the Coaches receive ?
The coaches will receive the RPT Community Coach Award plus equivalency certification from the International Coaches Institute. In addition coaches can use the qualification to apply for registration as part of the LTA Coach Accreditation programme in addition to other elements such as a relevant DBS etc..... as required by the LTA. Simply send an email to [email protected] explaining where you are coaching, your current coaching qualificatio, how many coaches you are looking to train and when you are looking to start the training. We will then follow up on this directly
