Tennis continues to reach new levels of performance and as such the teaching of tennis must not only keep in touch but stay ahead of the game. The Academy course will ensure that coaches are shown the latest techniques and developments taking place in the tennis world with specific reference and detailed information from the leading Spanish Academies. The course is designed for coaches who are currently working with or aiming to work with advanced players.
The course is a mixture of oncourt and online learning modules and gives the basis for a development framework and planning of programmes and sessions for training at this level. As well as a global and specific idea of the philosophy and pedagogy of training. Furthermore it can serve as a basis to incorporate a programme for advanced players into your own tennis school.

assessment information
Coaching: You will need to show that you can plan and conduct a range of coaching sessions in a group and individual situations. You may be required to teach junior and adult players.
Written Test: You will need to complete an online written test after the completion of the course which is a multiple choice test.
Skills Assessment: You will need to be able to show clear technically proficient demonstrations of all the key strokes involved in coaching at this level.
