Spanish Drills Day
The Spanish Drills Day is a one day course which covers the key practice and matchplay used in the leading Spanish Academies including the Sanchez-Casal Academy, JC Ferrero Equelite Academy and the Barcelona Total Tennis Academy. The course is very practical and will give you an insight into the Spanish training programmes.
Dynamic Doubles is a teaching system to help teach tactics for doubles in a simple yet effective system. The programme was developed by one of the leading Doubles coaches in the world.
Teaching the Speciality Shots
The course will show you how to teach a range of strokes through a series of teaching progressions with games and drills for each stroke and how to structure a lesson. Strokes include spin serves, drop shot, smash, topspin lobs, return of serve etc…
Advanced Groundstrokes
This is an indepth look at the technical aspects of the key strokes in tennis. Using the latest technical analysis systems and information the teaching system is supported by a direct link to the performance of the worlds top players.
Advanced Serve
The course investigates and analyses the worlds top players for the 3 key serves and then using this information shows a teaching method and system which will enable coaches to put this information into practice.
The course is structured to outline a series of teaching programmes on court which will help a player develop their tactical knowledge and abilities. Drills and matchplay practices will help players develop set plays and decision making strategies.
Planning for Success
The course is an introduction to the planning required to ensure the successful development path of a player. Periodisation charting, tournament selection, goal setting and monitoring performance are all included in this course.
High Performance Technique
A deeper look into the technical analysis of the worlds to players and how to introduce these techniques into your coaching programme. Using video and computer software analysis the course will provide a detailed assessment of the technical aspects of the strokes
High Performance Tactics
The course will cover a range of on court set plays to enable players to develop their tactical knowledge and application of tactics at the highest level. How to deal with different styles of players, court surfaces and conditions.
Match Charting
By using match charting analysis and flow charting we will be able to identify players strengths and weaknesses and create game plans and tactics to be able to best prepare players for tournament play. The course will show how to create and develop match charting plans, how to create the statistics and interpret them.
Sponsorship and Marketing
The course will show you how to create, develop and monitor a marketing plan directly related to your existing business. It will also cover how to develop a sponsorship package, how to identify potential sponsors, negotiating a deal and serviving your sponsors.
Club Coaching and Competition for Juniors
We will show how to develop a complete programme for juniors with a range of teaching techniques, drills, games and competitions which can be used with junior players of all levels within your club environment
Club Coaching and Competition for Adults
Similar to the Junior programme but this course will concentrate on developing a coaching programme and competitions for your Adult members
Managing Your Business
An introduction into how to manage and develop your business. Creating the right systems, looking after your customers and members and developing the base for a successful business.
Creative Programmes and Programming
Developing a wide range of programmes and programming will not only help you introduce more players into the game but also help you keep your players in your programmes longer. This day will show a whole range of tried and tested coaching programmes and ideas from around the world.
Developing a Schools Programme
The course will show you a range of ways of being able to contact and develop a programme with your local schools. We will look at how the process of management within schools has evolved with School Sports Co-ordinators, Primary Development Managers, School Clusters etc… and how to work with these people to assist you in your programme.
Funding and Sponsorship
This course will look at how you can attract funding and sponsorship to your club or coaching programme. We will help you complete funding application forms during the day which could enable you to attract up to £10,000 towards coaching and equipment for work in your local community.
